Fractal Spheres

I love creating Spheres in Apophysis there are so many different ways to achieve these results using the Final Transform with variations such as loonie, scry or bubble.  It takes a fair amount of time to get the right look, by moving the transforms around and using the right gradient you can get some amazing results.  The spheres that look like glass are my favourites.
Below are just a few designs made with these variations:

These designs are now available at my zazzle store at:

Funky Fractal Shoes

When I created these designs I never dreamed they would be printed on shoes. But when I first saw them I was thrilled, they appear nicely balanced and being able to use contrasting colours for the accessories (laces, eyelets, soles, etc..) makes the designs really stand out.

These sneakers are available in men's, women's and kid's sizes and the different styles to choose from include Hi-Tops, Lo-Tops, Lace-Ups and Slip-Ons.  When ordered, delivery can take up to 4 weeks because these shoes are made to order at the time of purchase, which makes them totally unique and just for you.

I can't wait to create more of these shoes, not only is it fun to do, they look so great.  So if your interested just follow the links to Zazzle and play around with the different styles and colours that are available.

My designs are there for you to customize any way you want.

Stunning Blue Fractals

Cyanosis - Fractal Art made in Apophysis using the Plastic technique.  Choosing the right colours becomes one of the most time consuming parts of creating fractals that really stand out because the colours can dramatically change the way a fractal looks and the depth that is created within the design.

Cyanosis is now available as posters. prints and mousepads at: http://www.zazzle.com.au/spiraltwister

Fan Dance - Fractal Art made in Apophysis using the Oily technique.  Again, choosing the right colours makes a big difference to how the fractal will look in the end.  Using the Oily technique throws up its own challenges when you have what's called "hot spots" in the design, these can ruin a very good design. I find that making the transform invisible is a good way to minimise the effect.

Discover the Mesmerising Beauty of Fractal Art

I've often been asked " What do you do?" When I answer I'm a Fractal Artist they look at me as though I've said a dirty word or grown a second head, because most people have no idea what it is or have never heard of it before.

I find it very hard to explain what it is in simple terms and always end up reverting to just showing them the images I have created.  There are many sites on the Internet dedicated to explaining Fractal Art but I find them either too technical or downright boring, so I'm not even going to attempt to explain it.

I would just like everyone to enjoy the beauty and randomness of  Fractal Art, there are so many different variations, styles and combinations and everyone interprets them differently that there can be no two identically the same.

The beauty of Fractal Art is you never know what you are going to create next, the possibilities are endless.  Who knows what can be achieved in the future with today's ever evolving technology,
          ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE  !!
